Yamakawa International Patent Office was
founded by Masaki Yamakawa, who is the president
of the firm, in Tokyo, in July, 1967. Initially
the office was located in Ginza, central Tokyo.
The office has been located in the present
location in Nagata-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo,
which is just behind the Prime Minister's
Office and close to the Japanese Patent Office,
since 1973.
Today, there are about 40 people, including
6 patent attorneys, working for the firm.
