Yamakawa International Patent Office is an intellectual property law firm in Japan. We work for our domestic and foreign clients to protect their intellectual properties including inventions, designs and trademarks.
Our practice covers: preparation and prosecution of applications for patents, utility models, designs and trademarks in Japan; licensing; litigation; searching patents, utility models, designs and trademarks; opinion work; attending to post-grant proceedings; and dealing with specific unfair competition issues.
As for patents and utility models, our specialized technical fields cover electric and electronics, telecommunications, system controls, information technologies including computer software, mechanical engineering, optics, and chemical and material science.
