To bring more values to intangible IPs
Yamakawa International Patent Office was founded in Tokyo, in July, 1967, by Masaki Yamakawa, who is now the chairman of the firm.
Initially, the firm was located in the Ginza area of central Tokyo. In early 1970s, the firm was moved into Shuwa-Tameike Building, in Nagata-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, which was just behind the Prime Minister's Official Residence and close to the Japan Patent Office, and conducted its business there until 2009.
The firm has been located in the present location, Sanno-Park Tower, since 2009.
